I have pppp on the bottom of my feet. When the pain is really bad,,,I use Lidoderm patches,,,you can leave it on for about 12 hours. There is no way I could work and be on my feet. There are times I have to use a wheelchair. And I use a scooter for shopping. The best thing is to stay off your feet, but who can do that without giving up? No pain reliever has ever stopped the pain for me. Answer: Is it the blistering or is it the cracking- for the cracking a really good layer of aquaphor ointment helps- for the blisters or the raw skin from broken blisters- a lidocaine cream may help-either way heavy cotton socks! good luck Answer: OOPS! if it is cracking skin,,,use super glue. The glue that you buy has the same ingredients that surgeons use. Krazy glue works fine. Dry the area,,,put glue in the crack,,,hold it together until it dries. Keeps it from cracking more. And as Carol said,,,,,good thick COTTON socks and a good shoe,,,I can't wear shoes,,,,not even a sandal,,,just a clog. Answer: SuperGlue? Really? I never ever would have thought of that Answer: Really it works great, stings like crazy until it dries but it works well to seal cracks and even bad paper cuts!! Answer: Super glue---yep---my derm told me---as long as you're not allergic to it. Be care with it and don't get it on unintended places! Answer: Be care with it and don't get it on unintended places! And, please be careful. The last thing you want to do is glue yourself to the floor! I saw where they have a liquid stitches out. I bet this can be used for us people who have there feet crack open and it is painful to walk. Cracks become so deep and skin so thick on the feet. This might save someone from glueing there feet to the floor like I did with super glue. This was another story for another time. Funny now but not then. Joan Source: . Mike P.S. Joan: if you're out there. I hope all is well. I really miss your posts! Answer: That is funny. Glueing your feet to the floor. That is something I would do. I can just picture that. I'm still laughing. Good thing I just went to the bathroom or I might have had an accident. LOL!!! I agree that the aquaphor will help. I use it all the time. Also those gel inserts help a little. Sorry you are hurting. I know that pain all too well. I have the same problem. Polly Answer: hi dsharman, sorry to hear of feet. i wish i could say what would help them but i don't know. i wish you the best and hate p. try and have a good night all richard Answer: I am so sorry to hear that your feet are hurting so bad. I don't have p on the botton of my feet, but I see you have been given some good advice. Good luck and get better. Diane Answer: I'm sorry to hear about your feet. I feel your pain. I've had some relief from using Desitin diaper rash "hypoallergenic" zinc ointment. I put it on at night then wrap my feet in saran wrap and socks. It helps some to soothe the p and get rid of the dead skin. Hang in there and I hope things get better soon for you. Jill Answer: just like to thank u all for the great replies i will keep my feet u and air them see if that works for now then if not will try the glue just hope i dont glue my self together :D Answer: A&D ointment helps also pure virgin olive oil,,,the main thing is to not let your feet get dryed out,,,moisturize them constanly,,,and the cracks will hurt less,,,also Neosporin ointment /with pain relief,,,baking soda soaks,,,,epson salts soaks,,,and moisturize ,,,moisturize. 100% pure coconut oil also. Desitin also helps and keeps a coating longer on your feet. Hope you find some relief. Answer: I had to have a biopsy done today. Guess what---no stitches---glue. A 2 in. incision, glued together with Dermabond. It will come off with time. http://www.closuremed.com/faqs_medprof.htm Copyright ? 2008-2009 www.health-time.org
